New Listing Data
Completing a SolarList listing requires personal information of the primary contact for a project including: name, phone number, email, address of the project site and a few other details regarding the preferences of the potential solar customer. SolarList does not gather data for any purpose other than optimizing the ability to match customers with potential suppliers or for evaluating the economics of a potential project. SolarList does not gather any data points not absolutely necessary for a project assessment, however many of the questions are optional. SolarList may adjust the exact questions asked from time to time to ensure high quality listings.
Automatically Gathered Information
Like most website operators, SolarList collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SolarList’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SolarList’s visitors use its website. From time to time, SolarList may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Third-party data transfer and lead generation
SolarList does not rent or sell personal information for any purpose other than lead generation for solar projects. SolarList transfers data only to North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, NABCEP-certified solar installers and project developers. Prior to transfer these companies must agree not to transfer or sell your information to any third-party entities. SolarList displays project-related by non-personal information to all of these providers, allowing them to assess the viability of the project and upon purchase, SolarList transfers the relevant contact information. SolarList is designed to be mutually-beneficial and only for parties willing to be contacted about solar products.
Removing Data
SolarList intends to allow User’s to destroy their own data via a later release. At this time, if you at any time would like to have your data removed from our system, please email info(at)solarlist.com and request a deletion. The information will be destroyed within 24 hours with confirmation by email. All contact information is destroyed automatically after the deadline set by the User.
